DOMO represents a unique ensemble of two distinctive buildings at Mühlebachstrasse 84 and 86 that interact with one another. It combines the charm of a historic Zurich city villa with contemporary architecture. This architectural concept gives each of the two sister buildings its own distinct identity.
Building 86, with its 11 condominiums, confidently translates this character into a modern language. As a more understated, contemporary addition, it deliberately breaks away from its historic model without losing its connection to it: spacious living areas, natural materials, and clear spatial sequences meet an open, airy architecture with plenty of light and a connection to the
inner courtyard. In this way, House 86 develops an independent identity in keeping with the spirit of the times—subtly influenced by the architectural heritage of its sister building.
