The middle building at Seefeldstrasse 204 is a venerable building dating from 1924 that is significant in terms of urban planning and historic preservation.
Originally, the building, which forms part of a perimeter block development, offered simple and practical cooperative apartments with a “spruced up” street side and a simpler courtyard side, which was typical for that period.
During the renovation, the beauty of the street-facing façade was emphasized and the rear – the actual sunny side – was enhanced with a glass elevator, side-mounted balconies, and decorative wire mesh ornaments, giving this side of the building a completely different value.
